Gov. Hassan's Veto Threat of 30 Day Residency Requirement for Voting:
It is as absurd as her previous statements about Voter Fraud in New Hampshire.

(June 11, 2015) - Gov. Hassan's office announced today that she is likely to veto SB 179, legislation that would set a 30-day residency requirement to vote in New Hampshire.

Pierce, the Lebanon Democrat, was on the losing end of a 3-1 vote Tuesday in the Senate Judiciary Committee, which approved a controversial “constitutional carry” bill that would allow all gun owners in the state to carry a concealed firearm. Right now they can do so, but only if they first get a permit from local police.

That custom went by the wayside over the past couple of years as Senator Shaheen, Governor Hassan, Congresswoman Kuster (NH-02), and former Congresswoman Shea-Porter (NH-01) refused to join Senator Ayotte in holding open forums.
