Citizens for a Strong NH's Statement of Disgust on OFA’s Lack of Respect for the Victims of the Boston Bombing
Last evening, Fox News’ “Special Report” released photos they received from a protest organized by President Obama’s OFA (Organizing for Action) against Sen. Kelly Ayotte. The sign photographed says “more shot per day than marathoned” with red paint depicting blood splatter covering the sign.
Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire is calling on Gov. Maggie Hassan, Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Rep. Shea-Porter, and Rep. Anne Kuster to immediately denounce the despicable use of a visual invoking the Boston Marathon tragedy for political gain.

Derek Dufresne, spokesman for Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire, Inc, made the following statement:
“It is disturbing and unacceptable for a national organization representing President Obama in New Hampshire to host a rally using visuals invoking the Boston Marathon bombings. Using a tragedy for political gain, especially one where victims and their families are still mourning and healing, is beyond reprehensible.
“Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire calls on Governor Hassan, Senator Shaheen, Rep. Shea-Porter and Rep. Kuster to immediately denounce President Obama’s organization’s recent actions. There is no place for this kind of discourse in New Hampshire.”
