Web Video: "New Hampshire Democrats Ran Away on Obamacare" During August Recess
When our U.S. Senators and Representatives in Congress are at home in their districts during the 'August Recess,' it is their responsibility to hold public town hall meetings. At these meetings, their constituents should be able to address every issue affecting them and their families, especially the issue of Obamacare, which will have dramatic effects on all Americans.
Sen. Shaheen, Rep. Shea-Porter, and Rep. Kuster (all vocal supports of Obamacare) have decided that they would rather ignore their constituents on the issue.
Derek Dufresne, spokesman for Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire, released the following statement:
"Sen. Shaheen, Rep. Shea-Porter and Rep. Kuster should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to hide from Granite Staters on the issue of Obamacare. While it might be because they are afraid of the ramifications their support for the failing law will have on their political careers, that is no excuse for running away and hiding from their constituents.
"As August draws to a close, Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire continues to call on the three aforementioned 'representatives' to stop hiding and stop running away from Granite Staters on Obamacare. Our great state deserve better."
