When our U.S. Senators and Representatives in Congress are at home in their districts during the 'August Recess,' it is their responsibility to hold public town hall meetings.  At these meetings, their constituents should be able to address every issue affecting them and their families, especially the issue of Obamacare, which will have dramatic effects on all Americans.

Despite protests at their offices, articles in the press, and an editorial in the Nashua Telegraph,

Sen. Shaheen, Rep. Shea-Porter, and Rep. Kuster (all vocal supports of Obamacare) have decided that they would rather ignore their constituents on the issue.

An article by E&E Publishing discussing energy legislation sponsored by Senator Jeanne Shaheen says "she was unsure what triggering the nuclear option would mean for the efficiency bill."  Shaheen went on to signal her support for Majority Leader Reid's possible use of the "Nuclear Option" by saying, "We'll see. We need to get things done."

Last week, the Obama Administration announced its decision to delay key provisions of Obamacare for a year, including one of the lynchpins of the law, the controversial 'Employer Mandate.' This decision came on the heels of Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire's first TV ad, "What to Cut," focusing on Senator Jeanne Shaheen's deciding vote to pass Obamacare. More specifically, the ad discussed the effects of the 'Employer Mandate.' This mandate could force many small businesses to cut their employees' hours from 40 to 29, and create even harder times for many Granite State families.
